3rd National Post Doc Symposium

IISER, Pune

December 10-13, 2019

The 3rd NPDS symposium was a joint by NCBS, InStem and IISER’s (Pune) PostDoctoral fellows. It brought together PhDs and Postdocs working in the field of Life Sciences from across India. It served as a platform for networking and discussion of  different challenges in early career research. It also created awareness among Ph.D.s and Postdocs about academic and nonacademic career avenues.

2nd National Post Doc Symposium 

CCMB, Hyderabad

October 3-5, 2018

The 2nd NPDS was a joint endeavor by NCBS, InStem and CCMB PostDoctoral fellows. A large crowd of Life Science PostDocs and PhDs participated in the event which spanned over three days. The symposium consisted of invited talks, research presentations, mentor interactions, informative panel discussions and workshops. It also featured a career day where talks were presented by exemplary and prolific people from industry R&D, start-ups, Sci comm community and journalism sector. The symposium not just provided a platform to discuss research, it helped participants in  future career decisions and enabled them to sustain career growth.
